Singer 247 Zig Zag Sewing Machine Reverse Button Stuck But I Fixed It!

So I was sewing on my 247 Zig Zag Singer sewing machine and the reverse button stuck and it was not sewing anymore. I popped the cap, removed the screws and the button and used singer oil to try to loosen it. Nada.  I Googled it and someone said that they used a hairdryer I guess to warm up the dried old oil. It worked!!! So if you have a machine that is stuck like that it might work for you too! Anyways, just thought I would share!
