My Tips For Hand Sewing On Snaps To Make It Less Of A Pain :)

Sewing snaps is a bit of a pain but I found some tips that make it easier for me that I wanted to share.
Tools and materials needed: item in need of snaps, snaps, a sewing needle, thread, scissors and a seem ripper or something to remove stitches in case you mess up. lol
* I use a double threaded needle with a knotted end.
* I do 3 stitches x2 per snap half, top and bottom per side, so 6 stitches in total for each, and 12 stitches total for each snap x2.
* I sew the thin snap at the top first on the inner and the heavier snap at the bottom on the outer.
* If I have to do more than one snap I sew the all the thin sides first then the other heavy side next so I can better match them up. You can use pins to help you with that.

Hope that will come in handy!

Blythe Doll Room Box Dioramas

You can make your own Blythe Doll Room Box or you want buy one already made too.  Above is my Veronica Lounging Lovely Takara Blythe Doll wearing RetroBubbleGum dress and relaxing in a basic little room I built and dressed up.

I used some leftover hardwood flooring, cardboard, paint, curtains I made, accessories & IKEA furniture&rug.  I even used a business card from a dolly friend as a print too.  It was the Blythe Doll Diorama group on facebook challenge that was a lot of fun.

I do want to buy a more solid room box.  I noticed they have some really nice ones around $300 US plus shipping and up.  I actually want to get the basic box for around $120 US plus shipping and dress it up myself.

Well that's all for now!  Thanks for taking the time to read this!!

Love,
