I was so honored when I was asked to donate my #RetroBubbleGum dresses and business cards to BlytheCon San Francisco last month so I shipped over 3 dresses and 150 business cards!! They already received them recently all and messaged me thanks and that they would post a picture too.
My Canon was not charged so the picture quality isn't the greatest but at least I had my iPod to capture all the #RetroBubbleGum goodies that were being donated.
Here are the 3 dresses that I donated on my Veronica but the doll is not included. Aren't they so cute!! If you think so too and would like one to purchase please go to: RetroBubbleGum
Well that's it for now. I also have another post to do about my recent trip to the south with some of my darling Blythe dolls. So much fun. I also brought my adorable dachshund too.

Happy Leap Frog Year Day!
"I thought you were supposed to leap over me you silly little frog." Kiwi.
The frog is from one of the many thrift shops I have frequented. The shoes are official CWC Takara Step In Time set. Oh and the doll is a BL Kozy Kape from CWC Takara. BL means that the doll has boggled eyes face mold with a Licca body, I believe. I made the dress and it's one that I am keeping called #RetroBubbleGum
Hope you all have a wonderful day!

RetroBubbleGum Blythe Doll Handmade Affordable And Retro Stylish Clothing On Etsy Now
Since I started collecting Blythe I have been making things for my dolls and my friend's dolls too. Knitting, crochet, sewing and even using a knitting loom also. It has been for fun mostly and for giving my pieces as gifts.
I have sold some pieces and outfits too through the years but not on a regular basis. Since my niece started collecting Blythe last year I started sewing a lot more for her dolls in my spare time and it was so much fun and relaxing too that I decided to start RetroBubbleGum!
I learned how to sew thanks to my father who is a professional tailor that trained in Italy at his brother's clothing store and tailor shop. I also took Home Ec in grade 8 and learned how to follow basic patterns to make a shirt, a mobile, a pillow and a tote bag. Pretty good for only being 12!
Now I love to sew in miniature and do so with vintage inspired patterns, mostly Skipper, that will fit 11.5" Blythe dolls. I learned how to do about 7 patterns really well so they are solid. For my shop opening I have 3 styles and I work mostly with delicate cottons and vintage materials.
For more details please see the pictures below for the exact dresses up for sale for fair prices with exact shipping.

Happy Valentine's Day From My Blythe Dolls Veronica & Rose Wearing RetroBubbleGum xo
Happy Valentine's day to all the kind and sweet people out there! Above is a picture of my adorable Veronica who is a stock Lounging Lovely Takara Blythe doll wearing RetroBubbleGum and pre loved shoes. The bear and doxy are by CWC Takara that came with my sleep set and the doggy was a gift from a friend! I spiced up the picture thanks to picmonkey.com that is mostly free!
Here is my sweet Rose in the same RetroBubbleGum dress and wearing stock cherry boots from the Takara knees and toes shoe set I purchased years ago for a mere $25 US but the boots alone are worth 4 or 5 times more? I only liked that one set so that's all that I purchased. I am not into the selling part of Blythe. I usually buy and keep 95% of my collection.
So I will be starting an Etsy shop part time in about a month or so and I just designed some new business cards that I think are so adorable! I ordered 500 on vistaprint.ca for only $9.99 CND and $7.99 cheapest shipping. They were usually 50% more on the price but there is a sale on now. Still beats Staples.ca that had only 100 cards for I believe $23 CND. I have ordered postcards from Staples before and you can go there in person for more assistance and you can pick up the cards quick without paying shipping. I always buy from the best at the time so I might be back to Staples if they can offer me better next time.
Well that's it for now! Going to do a bit of shopping this afternoon to make my husband the bestest Valentine's Day dinner ever! All the best to the kind sweathearts out there! xo
